Mr.Gil Pinto has been, for the past seventeen years, the main interior designer for the Hotel Porto Real Group in Angra dos Reis, Brazil. He was in charge of the complete interior design project and the selection of all fixtures and furniture from the stage of planning and construction of the hotel and finishing with its inauguration. From then on, he has been responsible for the interior design of all major improvements to the hotel‘s assets. The Convention Center, foyers, halls and meeting rooms, Day & Night and Four Seasons restaurants, Kid’s Club, Ocean Lounge, Bliss SPA and Gourmet are just a few to mention. Additionally, Mr.Pinto has always been responsible for the definition of all bed, bath and table items and also for the interior decoration of the Hotel for special events such as Christmas, New Year’s and many other special events.The hotel’s offices in Rio de Janeiro, as well as the residence of the hotel’s owner, also in Rio, are among the additional interior design projects completed by Mr. Pinto. He has always been responsible for budgeting and the procurement of all interior design and interior decoration work above mentioned.

We can describe our professional relationship with Gil Pinto as similar to the one we have with our family`s doctor. He is the designer we can trust at any moment, not only in a full house project, but also in the remodeling of smaller spaces. In the past 15 years, he has designed for us one 2250 square foot apartment, a nutritionist´s clinic and a 7200 square foot home. Gil demonstrates great personal ability to gather the values, concepts and preferences of the client and translate them into harmonious solutions.  A proof of his ability is that when we put our apartment on the market for sale, it sold on the first day. His design made all the difference!
